Eigg

The Isle of Eigg is a magical place. It is one of of the Small Isles, on the West Coast of Scotland. This community owned island, with just 100 residents, has a lot of space for wildlife and rugged scenery – white tailed eagles and golden eagles nest in the cliffs, wild orchids grow in the meadows. It is well known for its white beaches, overlooking the mountains of the isle of Rum, as well as An Sgurr, the recognisable peak on the island, wildlife watching and for its vibrant community. Perhaps you will see dolphins or a minke whale as you approach on 12-mile ferry journey!

Retreats – It can be tricky working out how to get to the island, but don’t worry – if you book onto one of the retreats you will be sent a booking pack with travel advice and Laurie will be available to answer any questions. Accommodation will be provided in The Glebe Barn, a spacious hostel in the middle of the island with a woodburning stove and a view over An Sgurr. Visit the Glebe Barn website here.
